Quality Education

Lawyers Alliance helps nonprofit organizations that address educational needs from early childhood to adulthood.

Clients include organizations that offer and support in-school and after-school educational enrichment, early learning and Head Start, public school improvement, charter schools and alternative public education programs, mentoring and tutoring, educational scholarships, college readiness and sustainability, occupational education, adult literacy, continuing education, English language learning, and STEM education.

Literacy Inc. (LINC) engages families and community members to support young readers in high-need neighborhoods. LINC harnesses the power that exists in every community to make literacy a value and right of all children, as childrenís educational success is the path out of poverty and the key to achievement. In order to maximize its reach, LINC engages community members to be ambassadors in high-need neighborhoods and help provide programming to children and families. LINC received pro bono assistance from Norton Rose Fulbright US LLP in order to ensure the organization had appropriate policies and training for volunteers and staff with respect to the protection of the children and parents involved in LINCís programs.
