As Director of Finance and Administration, Douglas Kato is responsible for the daily accounting, finance, facilities, and operations functions at Lawyers Alliance. Mr. Kato oversees the annual financial statement, audit and Form 990 for Lawyers Alliance, and is a Certified Public Accountant and Financial Controller. His career includes public accounting and corporate accounting for several for-profit and nonprofit organizations. Prior to joining Lawyers Alliance for New York, he was Controller for the American Jewish Historical Society and Director, Finance for the American Red Cross in Greater New York. Mr. Kato graduated with a B.A. in economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.
