Another Opening, Another Executive Order: Community Arts Roundtable

Performing arts venues from the Metropolitan Opera to the smallest neighborhood playhouse have all been battered by the pandemic, not least of all by ever-changing government mandates affecting both performers and audience members. As the city prepares to reopen in the face of rising infection rates, what must performing arts groups do to host a full and safe audience and performance experience in compliance with all applicable laws? Lawyers Alliance is pleased to host a virtual roundtable led by an entertainment lawyer and industry experts.

Learning Objectives: Filling seats while keeping audience and performers safe; vaccination and masking mandates, and their exceptions; insuring against risk; waiver language; best practices for verifying vaccine status, entrance and exit procedures, and changes to seating; youth audiences; and audience surveys. Our discussion includes real life experiences from the West End, Australia, Broadway, and more.
