Federal Legal Compliance for NY Nonprofits

Federal policies and enforcement priorities are changing quickly. Lawyers Alliance is here to help NY nonprofits understand their legal compliance obligations, assess legal risk, and do the legal work necessary to continue to operate in a legally compliant manner consistent with their missions. On this page we gather resources on timely issues. We have developed some of these resources ourselves. Others come from reputable organizations.

In addition, we refer you to Lawyers Alliance's Resources section for Legal Alerts on ongoing and general topics, such as Employment and Volunteer Management (e.g., Furloughs) and Lobbying and Political Activity Regulation (e.g., Election Season Compliance).
