Conquering Contracts: Negotiating, Administering, and Terminating within the Law
Nonprofits sign contracts every day including consultant agreements, collaboration agreements, subcontract arrangements, and vendor contracts. This workshop will cover key terms, risk management strategies, and common mistakes when negotiating common contracts.
Learning Objectives: Participants will be better prepared to identify legal risk in a contract, will understand what an organization is committing to when negotiating and signing certain contracts, and when it is prudent to seek legal advice prior to signing a contract.
