Ramona Morel

As Pro Bono Counsel, Ramona Morel plays a central role in Lawyers Alliance's client screening and intake, volunteer recruitment and support, case management, and program staff supervision. She works with Lawyers Alliance staff and pro bono leaders from law firms and corporations to ensure clients receive quality legal help. Before joining Lawyers Alliance in 2025, Ramona was a program director overseeing the consumer bankruptcy project at City Bar Justice Center. Prior to that position, she served as a senior staff attorney managing pro bono clinics and intake. Ramona co-teaches the Fall Externship on Economic Justice and Empowerment as Lecturer-in-Law at Columbia Law School. She received her J.D. From Brooklyn Law School and B.A. from New York University.
