Webinars for Wise Nonprofits: Intellectual Property Basics for Nonprofits
This webinar will review general concepts of intellectual property law, highlighting copyrights and trademark law. Led by Bloomberg attorney Madeline Kessler, the webinar will (1) clarify what can be protected by intellectual property law, (2) provide tips for protecting the intellectual property of a nonprofit, and (3) detail common pitfalls related to IP protection and how to avoid them.
Learning Objectives: Participants will learn the basics of intellectual property law most relevant to nonprofits, and will gain an understanding of what steps they may need to take to protect the intellectual property of their organization.
